it is something bad and good in the same time
i find inspiration this way.
I'm quilting.
this dog fabric combination whit some old self dyed fabric makes me smile.
the patterns I wane stick on it bounce in my head.

Love the state of your sewing room! Mine usually looks very similar. But you are right - it's inspirational that way. That quilt is going to be lovely. And I suggest you make another one for Spot-spot or risk the wrath of a cat. That could really be messy!
I prefer some kind of order at my work station but I can agree on that mess can be good for the inspiration!
