but to get my mind of the pain i knit and knit and did some other work

Oh, dear! Toothaches are no fun. You have been busy even though you are in pain. Hope the Tooth Fairy is kind to you. I see that you are working on a pair of socks that are crocheted from the toe up. I tried that pattern a long time ago, but I couldn't get it to work for me. Sending you hugs.
